La Dolce Vita, Toscana finds.
Everybody knows me knows I love Tuscany. The rolling hills, the cute square farmhouses with cypress trees in front of you, sunrise and sunset are just magical in Tuscany especially if you’'re lucky enough to catch a bambino in the morning. My favourite things about Tuscany as well is that it feels like coming home. The people, the architecture, the little towns filled with older people that make you feel so calm and all the golden fields all around you. Tuscany is quite big, the part I love the most is called the Val d’Orcia because the river that crosses through this part of Tuscany is called d’Orcia. I think this is the most well keptt and authentic part of Tuscany which still a lot of artisans, lot a lot of tourist stuff en truly amazing. A little town called Montalcino is where they made the Brunello wine, also the queen of all red wines. This village is aqually famous for its Brunello wine and everything is about the wine here. Also some of my favorite towns are Pienza and for the more locals Buonconvento which is where all the local people live.
My favourite estate of this region will come as no surprise Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco. I have filmed my first 2 songs here and it was the beginning of my project, it all started there in 2017 when Arjen and I went on our first trip together to Tuscany. We stayed in a super cute b&b and I had made a reservation for dinner when we arrived. We have been back ever since that moment we arrived at CdB. A huge road with lots of pebble stones, you think you ended up in the jungle however after 15 minutes of slow driving you reach this estate where it feels like coming home in your family country house.
Pienza is my favourite town for having a great pizza, doing some shopping because it’s my far the most touristy place and also having some delicious gelato.
My favourite seasons are for sure spring and autumn. I think its just the best, the temperature, its not busy just locals and the sunsets and sunrises in autumn in particular are just amazing.
